About:

It removes all deleted or stored thumbnails/stamps from your custom-boxes!

=1LoveDrew asked me whether I could think of a way to do this. It was a nice idea and kind of easy to work out, so I needed only 1-2 days. However, if you find any bugs, please report/comment!

This is a working script! Install it if you want this!

Manual:

Whenever you click on "Edit this Widget" on your profile-page or on the profile-management-page and your box is containing corrupted thumbnails, a popup like the shown above will open.
Select the kind of thumb you want to remove and click "remove" to tidy up your custom-box! Click "cancel" or the little "x" on the top-right to not remove broken thumbs.
Now just click "save" to have a cleaned custom-box!

I recommend to copy your source-code before you remove broken thumbs, so when there is a bug, you won't loose wanted thumbnails!

Preferences:

Will work with:
  • Firefox & Greasmonkey-addon

  • Chrome/Chromium (Tampermonkey recommended, but should work native, too!)

  • Opera / Workaroundscripts
HowTo use with chrome/opera: [link]
Will maybe run in Safari and obviously not in IE!

Install: [link]

Is there a workaround for the new Chrome update? We can't install stuff from any other site than Chrome's app site now. :(

Yes, there are two workarounds!

One I advise is installing Tampermonkey for Chrome.
Tampermonkey is an extension to manage userscripts with chrome. With that you can install userscripts from any site and they won't mess up your extension-list as they are listed within the Tampermonkey-overview.

To install userscrpts the old way, you need to download the userscript into a file and open the extension-list within chrome. Dragging the file into the extension-list will install it as a new extension. However, classic GM-functions won't work, so some scripts may not work that way.

Do you know of any known extensions that may conflict with this extension? It's not working for me now for some reason.

Well, I just noticed, the script itself didn't work anymore.
Probably dA changed how the used elements were displayed by default, so the popup didn't show up anymore.
Could you please try out v0.97 ?
I just tested it within chrome.
