If the journal title looks the wrong color, try applying the formatting to h2 a and a:visited--they converted all titles to links :)

I'm surprised this isn't flexible width--it looks like it would work really well that way. Otherwise, the color scheme is great and overall very easy to read.

Thanks^^ it took me about 8 minutes to figure that out after I submitted the journal.
the problem is that in the preview, there is no h2{color:...} from deviantart, so having only h2 CSS-defined will work in the preview but not within installed Journals^^

Ah, well... yeah it would have worked^^ Now that there is background-size it would be possible to stretch the header/footer's background-images... Well I didn't think of it^^ And it is really a pain to change a skin when you have used pictures... At first I thought you could simply reupload the CSS... But then every picture-link is broken as deviantart redirects the picture-urls and hosts the pictures itself... So I needed to resubmit the whole deviation^^

Well, there's a way to resubmit one with pictures bu it's kind of a pain: you have to redirect all the links back to the outside source (e.g. photobucket) :O ...I've done it before :B

well, I saved the original CSS with all picture-links leading to my stash, but when I tried to update the journal-skin, no panel of picture-upload appeared and picture-links were broken... And when I tried to change the links to the new deviantart-adress where the pictures were submitted to, I got the error that picture-links shouldn't be changed after the CSS is submitted.
So, how to do it right?^^

You wouldn't see the picture-upload thing again...did you make sure all the file names were the same and everything?

Using the stash links should have worked :O I've actually never done it that way, I've always used photobucket.

well, yes...
Then you can update&install without errors. But when you try to use it, there will be an error referring to the background-image-urls.
